Our baby room is registered for 6 children aged 3 months to 2 years and is a large open plan room that encourages our babies to explore their environment with the support of caring staff. This room is divided into three main areas which incorporate the entrance and messy play area, large play area in the centre and a sleep area.

As part of the daily routines we ensure our babies have regular access to our secure outdoor play area, giving plenty of opportunities to explore their natural environment and spend time in the fresh air

Care in the baby room is provided for a maximum of six babies, we aim to ensure this room is calming, welcoming and the children build good strong relationships with their key person

We have three regular members of staff who work in our baby room; this ensures consistency and continuity of care. Occasionally staff from the toddler room will work in the baby room, which helps support the smooth transitions between the baby room and toddler room
